Consent, privacy and the medical record decide many cases, because a committee works from the original file and from what the patient was told. Price depends on study time alone, not on topic or profession, so a specialist course costs the same as a general one of the same length.
| Length | Courses | Price each | Final assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 hours | 20 | AED 239 | 20 questions; pass with 16 |
| 3 hours | 10, among them the five profession ethics courses | AED 289 | 20 questions; pass with 16 |
| 4 hours | 1, the core investigation course | AED 329 | 30 questions; pass with 24 |
One saving is applied to the whole basket, depending on how many UAE courses it holds:
| Courses in the cart | Saving | Worked example |
|---|---|---|
| 1 or 2 | None | Two 2-hour courses: AED 478 |
| 3 or 4 | AED 120 | Three 2-hour courses: AED 717, then AED 597 |
| 5 to 9 | AED 180 | Five 2-hour courses: AED 1,195, then AED 1,015 |
| 10 or more | AED 300 | Ten 2-hour courses: AED 2,390, then AED 2,090 |
Near a threshold it pays to plan the set before checkout. Going from four courses to five, for example, adds AED 239 to the basket but raises the saving by AED 60. Whatever the length, every course comes with 12 months' access, a certificate of completion and its own reflective account.
Start with the core investigation course or the complaint response course, then add a topic course on the issue in the complaint, for example consent, records or prescribing. Insight and reflective practice help when a written account is expected. Later on, remediation planning, preventing recurrence and rebuilding trust help you prove the change has lasted. The remediation courses page matches concerns to courses, and the complaints and licensing guide explains each authority's process.
Begin with the ethics course for your profession and the professionalism course, then fill gaps with topic courses. Your licensing authority decides how any learning counts towards your CPD or a requirement it has set, so check its rules on units and activity types first.
Where an authority has ordered training, it defines what is required. Ask it, or your lawyer, whether a course fits the order before you enrol.
A good set is short, specific and taken in a sensible order. Three building blocks cover almost every situation.
| Situation | Courses | Total after the cart saving |
|---|---|---|
| A dentist answering a consent complaint | Core investigation course; Informed Consent and Chaperones; Insight | AED 687 (AED 807 less AED 120) |
| A nurse whose late record entry is being questioned | Complaint response; Clinical Documentation and Record Keeping; Probity; Reflective Practice | AED 886 (AED 1,006 less AED 120) |
| A pharmacist planning a renewal cycle | Pharmacist ethics; Professionalism in Practice; Safe Prescribing and Controlled Medicines; Confidentiality and Health Data; Insurance Billing and Financial Integrity | AED 1,065 (AED 1,245 less AED 180) |
These sets are illustrations, not prescriptions: choose to fit the concern in your own notice. Where an authority has ordered training, the order comes first and your own choices sit alongside it.
Training a team? The cart lowers the total as the basket grows, and larger groups can ask through the contact page for group enrolment.
If a concern has been raised, start with the course that matches it, or with the 4-hour core investigation course if the whole process is new to you. If you are planning ahead, most people get good value from their profession's ethics course or from Clinical Documentation and Record Keeping, because consent, communication and records come up in many complaints.
The price follows the study time: AED 239 for a 2-hour course, AED 289 for a 3-hour course and AED 329 for the 4-hour core course. Every course has the same format, with knowledge checks, a 20-question final assessment at 80%, a certificate of completion and a reflective account.
Your licensing authority decides how any learning counts towards your CPD or a requirement it has set. The DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SHA and DHCR each set their own units, totals and rules on what activity qualifies, so confirm with yours before you rely on a course for renewal.
Any course is open to you, though the five profession ethics courses and the physician professionalism course are written around one profession's law and duties. The other 25 courses are shared and point to each profession's rules inside the lessons.
Usually one to three that fit the concern, plus the core course if the process is unfamiliar. A focused set with a reflective account and evidence of changed practice tends to say more than many unrelated certificates.
Yes, all prices are in dirhams. The bigger the basket, the bigger the saving: three courses or more take AED 120 off, five or more AED 180 and ten or more AED 300, on UAE courses bought together.
You have 12 months' access to each course. Study at your own pace on any device and return to the lessons after you pass if you want to review them.
