When you can get a full refund
You can request a full refund of the price you paid for a course if all of these apply:
- you ask within 14 days of the date of purchase;
- you have completed less than 20% of the course; and
- no certificate of completion has been issued for that course.
Not started at all? You qualify, provided you ask within 14 days. If you bought the wrong country edition or the same course twice by mistake, tell us as soon as possible and we will refund or swap it under the same rules.
When a refund is not available
Because course content is delivered digitally and instantly, we do not normally refund a course once:
- more than 14 days have passed since purchase;
- you have completed 20% or more of the course; or
- you have passed the final assessment and a certificate has been issued.
A refund is also not available simply because a regulator, board, tribunal or employer did not accept a course. Our courses are independent education and are not accredited or approved, so please check acceptance with them before you buy.
If something goes wrong on our side
If a course has a technical fault we cannot fix within a reasonable time, contains a significant error, or is materially different from its description, contact us. We will fix the problem, give you access to a suitable alternative, or refund you, whatever the time or progress limits above.
How to request a refund
- Email support@fittopractisesg.com or use our contact form and choose "Billing and refunds".
- Include your name, the email address on your account, your order number and the course concerned.
- We will reply within 2 working days to confirm whether the refund is approved.
- Approved refunds are made to the original card. We process them within 5 working days of approval; your bank may then take a few more days to show the credit.
When a refund is made, access to that course is removed.
Your rights under consumer law
This policy is in addition to your legal rights. Nothing in it limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded, for example under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the consumer protection law of your US state. If you are unsure of your rights, see the official consumer protection guidance for your country or state.
